The role
The company is hiring a Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript) for the Duo Client SDK team, which is turning the the company Language Server's Duo logic into versioned TypeScript packages used by editor extensions and web Duo Chat. The role is fully remote and global; the salary range given is for US residents.
What you will do
- Build secure, well-tested TypeScript features of moderate scope
- Extract and publish TypeScript packages from the the company Language Server and migrate consumers step by step
- Design durable public APIs with semantic versioning, changelogs and deprecation paths
- Build isomorphic core packages with platform-specific code isolated in adapters
- Build SDK client surfaces, including Vue 3 components in Duo Chat on the web
- Handle credentials safely (bearer tokens, session cookies, CSRF), reduce bundle size and join Tier 2 on-call
What they ask for
- Strong TypeScript across frontend and backend, including Node.js services
- Experience with monorepos, multi-module builds, ESM and dependency management
- Vue 3 and Composition API experience, or comparable frontend work and willingness to learn Vue
- Experience designing APIs that other people use
- Understanding of Node.js versus browser differences
- Security-minded approach to credentials and performance
- Clear written communication and self-motivation in a fully remote team
