The role
The company is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager for Core Automation in its Platform group. The team builds agentic AI systems that automate compliance and customer support work. You will lead multiple engineering teams. The company is remote-first with quarterly in-person sessions.
What you will do
- Build, hire and grow an engineering organization, coaching managers and senior engineers
- Set the technical vision and multi-quarter roadmap for agentic AI systems with Compliance, Operations and Product leaders
- Drive architecture and delivery of production LLM systems with guardrails, grounding and measurement
- Lead several parallel automation initiatives across compliance domains
- Set engineering standards, code review practices and AI adoption frameworks
What they ask for
- 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years managing engineers
- 2+ years managing managers and building teams from scratch
- Track record shipping LLM or agentic AI applications, including grounding, guardrails and evaluation
- Depth in distributed systems, cloud-native architecture and AI/ML infrastructure, with hands-on code and architecture review
- Experience leading cross-functional work in ambiguous domains
- Experience in compliance, regtech, support automation or financial crimes
- Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight
