The role
The company is hiring a Support Engineer to give developer support on its Postgres platform, covering weekends in Europe, Africa and Middle East time zones. Four 10-hour shifts, fully remote.
What you will do
- Give first responses on support cases, from billing and pre-sales to optimization questions
- Triage cases and point users to answers, code examples and docs, or escalate to the right team
- Monitor feedback channels including GitHub Issues and Discussions
- Spot where internal tooling could improve support efficiency
- Reproduce issues and build test cases
What they ask for
- 3+ years providing developer support to technical customers
- Proficient in SQL, ideally PostgreSQL, including complex queries
- Excellent communication and fluent English
- Skilled with Linux/Unix and the command line
- Experience working with GitHub Issues and Discussions
- Located in Europe, Africa or Middle East time zones
- Available for 4 10-hour shifts covering weekends, 08:00-18:00 UTC
