The role
The company is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for the Deployment Environments team in Platform Enablement. The team works on Cloud Native deployment guidance for self-managed the company and on production-like ephemeral environments for earlier validation.
What you will do
- Build tooling and workflows for cloud-native and self-managed deployment environments
- Contribute to Cloud Native deployment guidance, including component requirements, topology and scaling principles
- Improve ephemeral environments so validation is closer to production
- Keep deployment artifacts and environment contracts consistent from development to production
- Work with related teams on packaging, testing, delivery workflows and customer-facing guidance

- Strong backend engineering experience, ideally with Kubernetes-based systems, distributed applications or platform engineering
- Experience with deployment architecture, environment management or cloud-native operations
- Comfort working between developer workflows and production infrastructure
- Systems thinking about service dependencies, deployment patterns and infrastructure abstraction
- Collaborative, pragmatic approach to building durable platform capabilities
