The role
The company is hiring a Staff Engineer (AI & Automation) to own the AI agent infrastructure and automation platform used by its Marketing Operations organization. The role is remote for candidates located in the United States.
What you will do
- Build and run multi-agent AI systems end to end, using orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI or MCP
- Build MCP servers, APIs, CLIs and microservices that connect LLMs to BigQuery, Slack, CRMs and other business systems
- Design retrieval-augmented generation data flows over internal knowledge bases and customer data
- Deploy serverless or containerized services on GCP Cloud Functions and Cloud Run
- Work with RevOps, Demand Generation and SDR teams to scope and automate manual work, using tools such as n8n or Workato
- Set governance for AI workflows: access controls, audit trails, PII handling, human escalation
What they ask for
- 8+ years of software engineering in backend, systems integration or data engineering
- 2+ years applying LLMs to production workflows, not only prototypes
- Strong Python and JavaScript/Node.js with Git, code review and testing
- Experience with prompt engineering, RAG, tool use, structured outputs and evaluation
- Experience building multi-agent systems at scale with orchestration patterns and monitoring
- Deep familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery and serverless services
- Located in the United States
