The role
The company is building an AI/ML team inside its Operations group to make its hardware supply chain AI native, and this is one of the first engineering hires. The role builds forecasting and optimization models for supply chain. Open to candidates in the US or Canada.
What you will do
- Define the AI transformation roadmap for supply chain with the Senior Director of Supply Chain AI Transformation
- Build and deploy models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, supplier risk scoring and cellular spend
- Create features and ETL pipelines from ERP, IoT and third-party datasets
- Ship production code for batch and real-time inference with MLOps practices
- Partner with Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, Finance and hardware engineering teams
What they ask for
- Experience designing, training, validating and deploying ML and statistical models in production
- Forecasting, optimization and anomaly detection skills on large, noisy datasets
- MLOps practices for monitoring and deployment
- Ability to set multi-quarter plans and work independently as an individual contributor
- Ability to work with cross-functional and executive stakeholders
- Resident in the US or Canada
