The role
The company, a fully remote headless CMS company, is hiring an Engineering Manager for its Foundations & Enablement team in Europe and LATAM. The team provides CI/CD, security practices, developer experience and core platform capabilities for other engineering teams.
What you will do
- Lead a cross-functional team of frontend and backend engineers on delivery and people development
- Balance the team's platform roadmap with requests from product teams
- Maintain engineering-wide standards for security, tooling, CI/CD and developer experience
- Partner with the Infrastructure team on shared platform concerns
- Set delivery estimates, track progress and clear blockers
- Own recruiting, hiring and onboarding, plus regular one-on-ones
What they ask for
- 7+ years in advanced software development, including 2+ years of engineering leadership
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Comfortable across frontend and backend engineering
- Hands-on grounding in scalability, reliability, observability and security
- Experience with platform, DevOps, security or developer-tooling work
- Based in Europe or LATAM, per the role title
