The role
The company is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for its Payments modeling team, working on LLM agents, real-time fraud defenses and personalized checkout. The role is remote within US states where the company has a registered entity.
What you will do
- Build LLM agents, real-time anomaly detectors and other AI solutions for payments
- Work with product, engineering, operations and data science to find opportunities and measure business value
- Design, train, deploy and operate large-scale AI applications for batch and streaming workloads with monitoring and retraining
- Make architecture choices and set standards for model governance and continuous learning
- Mentor teammates
What they ask for
- 5+ years of applied AI/ML industry experience, including MS or PhD
- Strong Python or Java programming and data engineering skills
- LLM workflow experience: prompt engineering, fine-tuning (LoRA, RLHF), hallucination mitigation and guardrails
- Hands-on with at least three of: PyTorch/TensorFlow, inference stacks, vector search, MLOps platforms, Spark, Ray or Kafka
- Experience running production AI systems with drift, cost and latency monitoring
- Payments domain knowledge is highly desirable
- Live in a US state where the company has a registered entity
