The role
The company, the privacy-focused company behind the company Mail and VPN, is hiring a Senior Community Manager for its five-person Social & Community team. The role builds the community hub and ambassador program. Applicants must be based in the US.
What you will do
- Help build out the the company Community Hub for discussion, feedback and education
- Design and run the ambassador program: journeys, rewards, governance, sourcing and onboarding
- Steward the company's presence on Reddit, Discord, Telegram, Matrix and LinkedIn groups
- Monitor sentiment, support crisis response and maintain moderation policies and community guidelines
- Pass community insights to product and engineering as roadmap input
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team standards
What they ask for
- 5+ years in community management, ambassador programs or developer relations
- Proven communication and copywriting experience
- Hands-on work with community hubs or ambassador programs
- Experience facilitating user communities or event-driven activation
- Able to own programs end to end and make trade-off decisions with analysis
- Based in the US and familiar with US online culture
