The role
The company is hiring a staff machine learning engineer for its Consumer Revenue ML team, which builds ranking, targeting and recommendation systems for Shop, Nitro, Server Subscriptions and Gifting. The position is US-based and can be remote.
What you will do
- Build ranking, targeting and recommendation models for the company's revenue products
- Take ML systems from 0 to 1 and into production at scale
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives across several product areas
- Turn experiment results into roadmap decisions
What they ask for
- 8+ years in applied machine learning, including a PhD or Master's in a related field
- Applied deep learning and recommender architectures such as two-tower, transformer-based and multi-task models
- Strong Python and PyTorch, JAX or TensorFlow
- Track record of building ML systems from scratch in ambiguous early-stage settings
- Product and business sense, and strong communication
- Based in the US
