The role
The company is hiring a frontend developer for a US-based e-commerce retailer that runs a custom headless Shopify Hydrogen storefront. The developer maintains and improves the storefront and may support future site migrations. Full-time, based in Eastern Europe, on US Eastern hours.
What you will do
- Maintain and improve the Shopify Hydrogen storefront using React and React Router
- Build responsive, accessible interfaces in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Work with Shopify's Storefront API and GraphQL, including products, variants and metafields
- Work with Storyblok CMS and Algolia search
- Implement analytics and marketing integrations and support e-commerce SEO requirements
- Turn requirements and rough mockups into polished experiences and flag technical limits
What they ask for
- Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React and React Router
- Professional experience with Shopify Hydrogen and headless commerce
- Experience with Shopify APIs and GraphQL
- Strong debugging skills and good UI/UX judgment
- Experience with APIs and third-party integrations
- Excellent English communication
- Full-time availability, 40 hours a week, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern
