The role
Samsara is hiring a senior AI data and analytics engineer for its Marketing Data and Analytics team. The work is building Databricks pipelines, semantic models and AI agents that power self-serve analytics. The role is remote and open to people living in the US.
What you will do
- Design core Databricks pipelines, Gold Layer tables and semantic models
- Turn business questions from Marketing, Sales and R&D into data products and agents
- Shape the team's technical roadmap with BI and Data Science peers
What they ask for
- 8+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering or AI engineering
- Expert Python and SQL with data modeling and dbt experience
- Hands-on Databricks or a similar lakehouse such as Snowflake or BigQuery
- Experience building semantic layers and documentation for AI and agent workflows
- Experience shipping and monitoring LLM or agent systems in production
- Experience supporting Marketing, Sales or Product teams
- Based in the US
