The role
Coinbase is hiring a senior engineering manager to lead AI Foundations, the team behind its shared LLM Gateway, MCP Gateway, evaluation and AI spend tooling. The role is remote in the US, with quarterly in-person working sessions.
What you will do
- Lead hiring, coaching and technical direction for AI Foundations
- Set the team's 2027 strategy and roadmap
- Partner with Security, Legal and Finance on AI governance and spend
