The role
Reddit is looking for a senior machine learning engineer on its Ads ML Efficiency team to make ML training and serving faster and cheaper. The role can be done remotely from anywhere in the US or Canada.
What you will do
- Profile and fix ML performance bottlenecks
- Improve inference and training efficiency and cost
- Benchmark and load test models before launch
- Build reusable performance tooling and guidance
What they ask for
- Hands-on ML performance engineering on production workloads
- Strong Python and systems programming skills
- Experience optimizing large-scale inference or training, especially recommendation or ranking
- PyTorch performance experience (Dynamo, Inductor, torch.export or custom operators)
- Experience with TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, CUDA, Triton or similar
