Coinbase is hiring a senior machine learning engineer to build the multi-agent LLM platform behind its Help Center, chat and support agent tools. The role is remote in the USA, with quarterly in-person working sessions.
What you will do
- Build the multi-agent framework for agent assist and secure LLM actions
- Improve AI concierge chat and agent copilot experiences
- Detect and handle bad actors and adversarial inputs
- Set evaluation standards and mentor team members

- 5+ years in machine learning and software engineering
- Track record of shipping production ML services at scale
- Hands-on expertise with large language models and generative AI tooling
- Experience owning complex ML projects end to end
