The role
Airbnb is hiring a senior staff software engineer for its Trust team to lead the architecture of platforms that fight fraud and keep the community safe. The role is remote-eligible in US states where Airbnb has a registered entity, with occasional office visits or offsites.
What you will do
- Set long-term vision and architecture for the Trust Platform
- Build system and performance tooling
- Write code hands-on using LLM-powered agents
What they ask for
- BS, MS or PhD in computer science or equivalent experience
- Experience guiding multi-year technical roadmaps across sub-teams
- Deep experience with observability, SLOs, incident response and resilience patterns
- Must live in a US state where Airbnb has a registered entity
- Trust and risk domain experience a plus
