The role
Remote Recruitment is hiring a full-time Social Media Assistant for a UK brand, fully remote from South Africa. You would own the daily social calendar, schedule posts, create simple graphics and report on results.
What you will do
- Schedule and publish posts on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
- Create simple graphics and short videos
- Reply to comments and messages in the brand voice
- Track engagement and report weekly
- Research trends and content ideas
What they ask for
- Experience managing social media for a brand or business
- Experience with Canva and a scheduler such as Metricool or Buffer
- Strong written English
- Basic understanding of social media analytics
- Reliable with deadlines
- Based in South Africa; work 09:00 to 17:00 UK time (11:00 to 19:00 SAST)
- Nice to have: CapCut editing, paid social basics, UK captions
