The role
Reddit is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer for the App Ads Modeling team in its Ads Ranking org. The work improves ad ranking models through better architectures and embeddings. The role is fully remote.
What you will do
- Design and train deep models such as DNNs and transformers for Reddit Ads Ranking
- Develop features including embeddings, contextual signals and cross-session behavior
- Work with product, infra and data teams on model deployment and performance analysis
- Mentor other ML engineers and set modeling best practices
- Shape the long-term modeling vision across conversion, app ads, shopping and brand
What they ask for
- 7+ years of industry experience, including several years in applied ML
- Strong deep learning experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Background in recommendation systems, ads ranking or similar domains
- Experience with large-scale datasets and complex feature pipelines
- Track record of delivering high-impact models in production
- Comfort working with infra and data teams on feature serving and training pipelines
