The role
AlgaeCal, a women's health supplement company, is hiring a Direct Response Copywriter to write conversion-focused copy for women over 40. Work spans ads, emails, sales pages, social, video scripts and blogs, using clinical research and customer insight.
What you will do
- Write ads, emails, landing pages, sales pages, social posts, video scripts and blogs
- Turn clinical studies and product details into clear, persuasive product stories
- Find hooks, angles and offers from reviews, testimonials, research and competitor funnels
- Write both short copy and long sales pages or video scripts
- Use performance data such as click and conversion rates to decide what to test next
- Work with marketers, designers, video editors and other writers on revisions
What they ask for
- 3-5 years of proven copywriting experience with a portfolio of converting copy
- Direct response skills: hooks, headlines, subject lines, offers and calls to action
- Ability to turn product features into customer benefits
- Comfort reading clinical research and presenting it accurately
- Experience writing SEO, AEO or GEO content
- Care with health claims, compliance and accuracy
- Comfortable using AI tools for research and drafts while keeping final judgment
- Able to handle multiple projects and take feedback
