The role
Supabase, the Postgres development platform, is hiring engineering managers for Supabase Spark, its effort to build agentic databases at very large scale. The role is fully remote and open globally.
What you will do
- Run 1:1s, performance management and onboarding for direct reports
- Own the team's hiring plan and act as hiring manager
- Own the roadmap, intake and weekly updates
- Organize support ticket work and keep the team's SLO
- Serve as incident commander and lead post-incident reviews
What they ask for
- 5+ years of engineering background
- 3+ years managing remote engineering teams
- Experience managing teams at a cloud, SaaS or developer tools company
- Experience with developer tools or databases; SQLite and Postgres a plus
- Experience leading asynchronous teams across time zones
