The role
Supabase is hiring an SDK engineer to own its open-source Python SDK across database, auth, storage, realtime and functions. Supabase is fully remote and hires globally.
What you will do
- Build sync and async Python SDK APIs
- Triage issues and review outside contributions
- Keep the SDK fully typed
- Track platform changes and update the SDK and changelog
- Write RFCs, migration guides and docs
What they ask for
- Deep knowledge of modern Python typing
- Authored or maintained a published library with outside users
- Open-source maintainer experience: triage, reviews, releases
- Fluent with asyncio
- Python packaging for libraries
- Strong writing for docs and changelogs
