The role
VirtuHire is recruiting for a UK client that needs a Hosting Manager / Senior Joomla Developer to look after about 250 live Joomla websites. The job focuses on security, Joomla migrations, plugin updates and hosting maintenance.
What you will do
- Manage and maintain the company's Joomla websites and hosting environment
- Run Joomla CMS migrations and updates
- Monitor plugin updates and compatibility
- Identify and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities
- Manage cPanel hosting environments and carry out PHP version migrations
- Support website design, development and build work
What they ask for
- Strong experience with the Joomla CMS
- Experience managing cPanel hosting environments
- Knowledge of PHP version migrations
- Experience managing Joomla updates, migrations and plugins
- Proactive approach to website security and maintenance
- Website design and development experience is highly advantageous
