The role
VirtuHire is hiring for a US client a Marketing Data Engineer in ad tech, working US hours. The role owns the data pipelines and data quality behind the client's dashboards, pacing outputs and recurring reporting.
What you will do
- Build and maintain API/ETL ingestion from DSPs, ad servers and other ad platforms
- Normalise campaign data and keep metric definitions consistent
- Manage cloud warehouse structures and client data deliveries
- Reconcile pipeline output against raw platform exports and investigate variances
- Build automated data-quality checks, alerting and monitoring
- Support platform migrations and work with the dashboard developer and programmatic lead
What they ask for
- 4+ years in data or analytics engineering with production ETL/API responsibility
- Strong SQL and at least one language such as Python
- Experience with cloud warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake
- Experience reconciling data across multiple systems and designing quality controls
- Able to own production pipelines, troubleshoot failures and document definitions
- Preferred: ad platform APIs, DV360 or other DSP data, ad-server data
