The role
The company is hiring a Head of Security Operations to lead the team that designs and runs the company's security practices, tools and policies. The role reports to the CISO. It is a remote global leadership position.
What you will do
- Hire and mentor a team of technical security professionals
- Define SecOps standards and playbooks and own the design of the SOC
- Identify, contain and guide remediation of cyber attacks
- Evaluate and implement new security tools and practices
- Drive threat modelling and table-top exercises across engineering and IS
- Track SecOps KPIs and report security metrics
What they ask for
- Proven record of dealing with advanced threat actors and nation-state threats
- Expert knowledge of SOC architecture and design, including logging, firewalls and segmentation
- Expertise in Linux security
- Ability to define, automate and measure incident response playbooks
- Experience with threat intelligence feeds and risk frameworks such as NIST CSF
- Leadership and management ability
- Excellent business English writing and presentation skills
