The role
ClickUp, which builds an AI workspace for tasks, docs, chat and search, is hiring a Senior AI Engineer for its voice platform. You will own real-time transcription, LLM-based cleanup and voice-to-action features across desktop, mobile, web and browser extension.
What you will do
- Design and optimize real-time speech-to-text pipelines, including streaming ASR, voice activity detection and audio processing
- Improve transcription accuracy with context such as user names, custom vocabulary and language detection
- Build LLM-powered post-processing: grammar correction, filler removal, mention resolution and formatting
- Build voice-to-action systems that turn natural language into structured workspace commands
- Benchmark and integrate ASR models such as Whisper and AssemblyAI for cost, latency and accuracy
- Ship voice features across desktop, mobile, web and browser extension, and explore multimodal AI

- Hands-on ability to build and tune real-time speech-to-text pipelines (streaming ASR, VAD, audio processing)
- Experience working with LLMs for text post-processing and command parsing
- Ability to evaluate and compare ASR models on cost, latency and accuracy
