The role
ClickUp is hiring a Staff AI Engineer on its AI Platform team to build a backend platform where users create and deploy AI agents that collaborate. The role centers on LLMs, orchestration and agent evaluation.
What you will do
- Build and maintain a platform for creating and managing AI agents and their interactions
- Integrate multiple LLMs with scalable orchestration
- Use frameworks such as LangGraph for multi-agent workflows
- Build evaluation frameworks for testing agents in complex scenarios
- Address AI privacy and data protection requirements in agent applications
- Improve search capabilities that agents use for information access
What they ask for
- Experience with multiple LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic and Cohere
- Expertise in orchestration software like LangGraph
- Background building evaluation frameworks for AI systems
- Strong AI and machine learning fundamentals with a backend focus
- Experience with AI privacy: anonymization, secure data handling, compliance
